CompSoc Forums

Posted on 18th May 2004

We now have our own forums at http://forums.warwickcompsoc.co.uk/ All are welcome to join, whether members or not, so feel free to go and use them, poke them, generally explore. Any glitches/requests should go to the tech team, and we'll get it sorted. They're very much experimental at the moment, we're still ironing things out, so go find the bugs for us!

Members' Website URLs

Posted on 16th May 2004

If you have a website hosted here as http://www.warwickcompsoc.co.uk/~foo, it is now accessible as http://foo.warwickcompsoc.co.uk/ and you should check that it works under this new URL, because within the next day or so, we plan to redirect all requests for the first kind of URL to the second. Update 2004/05/06

h3. Update 2004/05/06

Great News Everyone!

The Uni electricians finally got back to us, (thanks John) and we have been told that we have enough power for 40 people. Thus all of you who wanted to come, but there wasn't room, now there is. We're sorry it is such short notice, but there was nothing we could do. That said, roll on the LAN...

LAN

Posted on 6th May 2004

We have finally got word back from the sparkies, we can now run a 40 person LAN in H058 and 0.60, signups are open people, come and get em.
