Again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused and are working towards making all our services available again. Please contact techteam@uwcs.co.uk if you have any queries.

You may have noticed that the Computing Society servers have been experiencing difficulties over the past few days. There have been two major causes for this:

* A kernel upgrade to our main server (molotov) resulted in unexpected LVM related failures. We believe that this issue has been resolved, due to it operating as expecte...

h4. Exec List - Public or Private

The group discussed various aspects of the issue which had been raised via email conversations over the week. Richard proposed we could adopt one of two existing styles - the WUGLUG discussion list style or alternatively a public read system.

Fred stated that he preferred to have a public and private system - there could be a private list for closed communication, a public list for everything else.
